The Most Fun You Will Have In A Car Park….

On offer this week at the Farmers Market in Hamilton, the panini stall which is next to the Fritter Man is selling gourmet hummus to tantalise your taste buds. Come and sample for yourself this gastronomical delight. The flavors available are original hummus and for real garlic lovers garlic hummus - the real deal, fresh garlic not processed, olive hummus with lots of kalamata olives and sun-dried tomato hummus, all with natural ingredients and a generous amount of organic tahini and the only preservative is lemon juice. Come and try for yourself.

It’s the end of the daffodils for Kaimai View Gardens, so come and get them while you can. Lovely double daffodils which have been a hit at the market. White lilies are available this week also purple and fragrant apricot. There are also a good supply of foliage for those who like to do their own arrangements. Bouquets, sunflowers, Bird of Paradise and Anemones are available as well. There are lily bulbs available, now is a good time to put these in the garden.

The Lettuce Man in the yellow cart has an abundance of lettuce available, he is also at the Cambridge Farmers market. Also culinary herbs, watercress and much more. Get in quick, his cart is always busy.

Roberto’s Kitchen is not in Hamilton this week, but he will be back next week with many Italian delights in store.

Celtic Cuisine is back with her special Celtic baking. It is unique to Hamilton and Cambridge and is nostalgia on a plate. Scottish oatcakes, shortbreads, welsh tea brack and welsh cakes, tattie scones and Irish soda breads to name a few… If you are celtic, it’s just like your mother used to make back home and if you’re not of celtic descent you will love it too.
